Custom Fabricated Skybolt Exhaust
Here’s a 6 into 1 system for a Skybolt with a parallel valve
540. Mocked up in PCV by the customer using one of our PVC mock kits, the
system is then fabricated using this as a model. We generate a temporary weld
fixture and produce a bolt on solution without having the aircraft at our
location. Notice the collector tabs holding the collector to the primary tubes.
Three of the tubes are secured and three are left as floating tubes. This
ability for the tubes to expand and contract spate from one another, greatly
increases system life. The diagonal cut on the tail pipe was done to match the
customers exact request.
